David Woodlock (1842-1929) was an Irish-born painter known for his idyllic, chocolate-box Victorian scenes in both oils and watercolours. Woodlock exhibited extensively at the Walker Art Gallery and also showed work at the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, Royal Scottish Academy, and the Dudley Gallery Art Society.
