Cocky Cocky Doodles and the Gulf Oil Spill ORIGINAL Mixed Media Acrylic Painting

SquareTrade © AP6.0I am 66 years old and spent most of my life running from my artistic self, in retail management. I left that behind a few years ago, but have yet to take the plunge, so to speak. I claim no artistic merit or talent for that matter!! After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!! I am untrained (self-taught) and paint from my "gut". As such, my paintings create themselves, in the sense that I have no specific goal when I start out. The images unfold as I go along! "Cocky, Cocky Doodles and the Gulf Oil Spill" didn't start out in that direction, and was in fact started before the disaster occurred! But somehow, that is how it evolved for me!! This mixed media (mostly acrylic paint with some flower petals thrown in!) painting on canvas board measures 24" X 30". Obviously, I have no idea of what response I will get to this listing. But I do know I do have to try to pursue my dream! To quote Dr. Seuss, "If I'm patient and cool........who knows what I'll catch in McElligot's Pool!". Shipping will be by Fedex Ground!!!
