C. Pierre Latour (1935-2006) was born in Paris to a Belgium mother and French father, who was also an artist and taught young Pierre painting. Latour's training as a child was fundamental. Although Latour resided in the US, he is best known for the beautiful colors of the palette depicting the city of Bruges, Paris, flower markets, and picnic scenes reminiscent of summers spent in Belgium.
