Up for sale is a fantastic Burton Silverman (b 1928) Charcoal, pencil and white Conte. Signed. Titled "The white Robe and dated to 1980. A fantastic piece . On paper I think although it may be on board It is framed professionally and has not been examined outside of frame because I do not want to damage the piece and framing. I am 99% sure this is on paper and not board. He did these types of paintings on both. Signed by artist lower right. Titled and dated on back with a price and a number (51) which probably relates to some series he was doing. From an Bethesda MD estate that we purchased 3 pieces by Silverman from. No visible condition issues. No condition issues visible. Overall the piece measures approximately 18 x 24 inches. Frame in nice shape with some small dings to the edges. The back paper has been removed which revealed the title of the piece and date. See photos. A great piece. Silverman is widely collected, has a strong auction history and is well represented in museums. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
