LaLaPop #154 by BGood, acrylic & ink on maple wood. This series was a lot of fun to paint and titled LaLaPops because they visit from LaLaLand and resemble lollipops. Pareidolia is that notion where we see landscapes in ceiling water stains and elephants in clouds. My art is “Over There”, next to Outsider; pareidolia plays heavily in my head and art. This “table topper” (to be placed on horizontal surface) piece, 5”x3”x1”, nests on a black brass coil, it is a 360 degree painted sculpture influenced by the wood, the day and my state of mind. Likely this was a fun day as this piece has a frivolous air weighed down by slight frights. A little shopworn, only $45, including shipping inside continental USA.
