Signed verso "Walmsley", this work is executed in ink, watercolor and gouache measuring 6.75 x 4.75 inches while its wood frame measures 10.75 x 8.5 inches. This charmingly painted scene is one depicting ancient Roman architecture of which I quite enjoy and more rarely see. The condition of this watercolor is excellent showing one dot of discoloration top right while its matting and frame shows minimal wear.
