Athanasy by Karl Franklin - An original oil on canvas painting measuring 30 inches wide x 24 inches high, that is the actual painting, it also comes framed. This painting has been in the possession of the artist since its creation in 1997, this being the first time it has been offered for sale. This painting was included in many surreal art shows in museums and galleries around So Calif in the mid to late 90s. What do you see? Like many of you, music has been a deep part of my life since I can remember. Many musicians/singers have touched me in personal ways, you know what I mean, so this tree kind of represents life and the names carved in it show the permanent affect they have had on us. So sad, just so sad that they are gone but so glad, I mean really glad, that they were here.
