Antique 19th C. Thomas Sidney Cooper Watercolor Painting Cows English Landscape

A large stunning Thomas Sidney Cooper (1803-1902) pastoral watercolor on heavy artist paper depicting a group of sheep in a grass field alongside a bridge over a river, a farmhouse in the distance, and birds flying up above. It is a signed and dated 1872 lower right. The details are spectacular and the size of the painting gives you a window size view! Overall it is in very good condition for age with just light toning and light surface wear. It is held in a wood frame with ebonized accents.
