Signature : Signed and dated on front lower right-verso:dated Artist: unknown Dates: 1946 Artist journaled work from July-August 1946 + December Medium: oil and or oil pastel on Masonite Presdwood board Sold unframed Measures: 30” x 43” Condition: Restoration needed! Margins of board have numerous breaks and chips-see images. Paint loss, paint flecks, paint chips, surface dust and debris, abrasions, previous frame abrasions, scuffs, scratches, stains, white spots with other wear from age and storage. Repairs are needed to fix chips, breaks and loss. Adding framing most likely will cover most marginal breaks but not all. This is a large painting well suited for a focal area in a home.
