Antique 16th C. St Joseph Virgin Mary Christ Wise Men Spanish Tempera Painting

A tempera painting on wood panel portraying the adoration of the magi adapted to show a knight in armor in attendance, Spanish school. It dates likely somewhere from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. The panel is slightly curved as intended. The surface of the painting has toning from age, soiling, scattered areas of paint loss/worn paint/marks, etc. Repaired fracture down middle of panel, sturdy and ready for display!
