Alice Lauffer Lawrence was born in Cleveland, Ohio in March of 1916 to (artist and architect) Erwin Otis Lauffer and Florence May (Menough) Lauffer. She was a notable artist and educator . Degrees from Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University (1938). Also worked as a sketch artist for notable companies including Estee Lauder and Kmart. Won numerous regional awards over her career and her work is in many collections and museums, including the Cleveland Museum of Art.
