Painter, draftsman. Historical subjects, nudes, portraits, interiors with figures, village scenes, landscapes. Alexis Perignon the Younger worked with Girodet. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1814 to 1850 and received a silver medal in 1824. He acted as an art expert for the royal museums.
