René Tener (1846-1925) painter of the Barbizon school, student of Jules Dupré and mayor of Isle Adam in 1904, the Louis Senlecq museum has several of his works. He painted mainly views of the banks of the Oise, Isle Adam and Normandy.He was a friend and disciple of Jules Dupré and Camille Corot as well as Charles Francois Daubigny among the greatest painters of the Barbizon school.
