Nice piece which measures roughly 2.75x3.5 inches. Framed in gold gilt metal frame with backing but without front glass. The sitter is beautiful with perfect creamy skin and a stunning red dress with a blue cover. Identified as Frenchwoman Pauline Bonaparte, the younger sister of Napoleon, painted by artist Salomon-Guillaume Counis. Portrait surface in strong condition with well preserved colors and overall nice eye appeal.
