1932 Impressionist Canalside Autumn Landscape, likely Delaware Canal in Centre Bridge, Pennsylvania, a few miles north of New Hope, by Clarence W. Snyder (1873-1948), listed Pennsylvania artist, oil on canvas, 20 1/4" by 24", signed and dated lower right, period Heydenryk style carved wormy chestnut frame with newer linen liner, 29" by 32 3/4". Artist was a member of Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Drexel Institute, and Philadelphia Art Club. Condition very good, replaced stretcher keys, minor retouch to water area, frame with minor blemishes.
