Tremendous vintage c1960s original still life oil painting. Depicts a breathtaking Impasto scene of vines and flowers growing up out of the ground. Medium is oil on Masonite done in an Expressionist style. Thick and chunky paint raising up off the canvas giving this piece a true 3-Dimensioal look. Quite impressive with many tubes of paint used to create the flower pedals; just brilliant. Signed M. Pietsch; worthy of further research. Framed in a sleek contemporary green painted wood frame and ready to hang. Provenance comes from a large collection of over 800 pieces purchased from the estate of a southern Massachusetts art dealer.
