Original Hand Painted Owl Plate “Chouette de Tengmalm” Signed by Marcel Guillot from Vallauris, South of France. Born in 1910 - 1985?, Guillot studied at the School of Applied Arts in Paris. After working at the Sèvres factory, he opened his own studio in south west Paris. His production was mainly utilitarian, but also decorative, and he potted for several other artists. He was President of the Union for Ceramic Artists in France and took part in a number of Ceramic and Decorative fairs. Condition is Excellent – no chips, stains, cracks or wear.
