This is the 9th time painting Piotr Rasputin as Konstantin Kamynin. I was going to stop at a triptych, but Kamynin keeps posting pics that are just too inspiring, my forever Colossus muse. In this one Piotr has borrowed Cyclops' ruby quartz sunglasses to complete his look. I've been obsessed with Colossus since I was I wanna say...8 years old. The marriage of the image of Konstantin with Piotr Rasputin is such a perfect fit - my favorite Russian superhero combined with my favorite Russian model. I can't stop. Won't stop. This 5x7" board acrylic painting is finished off with a pale gray frame.
