Beautiful Original Impressionist Oil Painting, Home on Lake, Illegibly Signed!

Up for sale is a beautiful impressionist oil painting on masonite which depicts a couple of houses next to a pond with a sun setting pink sky over head. This painting is unfortunately illegibly signed in the lower right corner and dated 80'. The quality of this painting is impressive and clearly shows how talented the artists was. The entire composition is composed of fast, short brushstrokes which allows you to see how the artist worked providing a intimate element. The colors are wonderful and very appealing to the eye from the pink sun setting sky all the way to the reddish brown earthy path in the fore ground. The painting measures approximately 19.75 x 16.75 inches while the frame measures 26 x 22 inches. The painting is in excellent condition void of any damage besides some minor surface dirt and the frame has some cosmetic blemishes and a small gap between the painting and frame.
