Dated June 1982 Signed L Y Alaby Original Haiti Painting Domestic Scene 5" x 5"

I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is an orignal signed and dated painting by Haitian artist "L Y Alaby". They have a rather large body of signed works in a variety of sizes but little is known of the artist other than having been born in Port a Prince. An artist named Alaby was represented by a gallery La Boutiques des Caraibes in 2009. I see L Y Alaby works signed and dated from the 1970s into the 1990s. This work has a bright yellow frame with overall dimensions of 6 3/4" square and almost an inch deep. Visible dimensiions are 5" square. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
