Zendehroudi Signed Zendeh Original Painting 1991 - Pioneer of Modern Persian Art

For your consideration is an original art by a pioneer of modern Persian art - Zenderoudi. Guaranteed for life. Only 1 made. Never seen or published. Truly unique and rare. Measures approx 16.5 X 12.5 inches. Made from oil on “pate a papier” which is French for pulp paper. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1937, Zenderoudi graduated from Tehran's High School of Fine Arts in 1958. Key member of the Saqqakhaneh movement with Parviz Tanavoli, in the 1960s. He received awards at the Paris Biennials in 1959 and 1961, then moved to Paris. Zenderoudi is considered a pioneer in Persian modern art. In 1971 he was included in the French magazine ‘Connaissances des Arts’ List of 10 Best Living Artists alongside Frank Stella, Mark Tobey, Andy Warhol and Zao Wou-Ki. His works have sold for an average of $139,000, with his record being $2.7 million. I have found a few paintings similar to this one in his book. This painting has never gone on sale, and was given by the artist to the current owner in the early 1990s. Owner needs the money for medical bills, otherwise would not be selling.
