This listing is for (1) gorgeous oil painting in excellent condition. It comes with a beautiful frame and is painted with oil on canvas. The canvas is in immaculate condition. The artist spent a long time on the texture work and it absolutely comes through. This would be a wonderful addition to any connoisseur's collection. This piece is signed by William Constable Adams. William Adam (California, Massachusetts, 1846-1931) oil on canvas painting of a large water fountain in a plaza. It's signed on the lower right. He was a member of the Boston Art Club; Glasgow Art Club and exhibited at California State Fairs (medals); the Del Monte Art Gallery, 1907-12; the Berkeley Art Association in 1908; Sorosis Club, 1913; Calif. Artists. His work is in the Silverado Museum at St Helena, California; the Santa Cruz City Museum; the Shasta State Historical Monument and the City of Monterey Collection. William Constable Adam (29 August 1846 – 17 October 1931) was an English-born oil and watercolour painter of Scottish ancestry who spent the last 33 years of his life in California, United States. This piece is a massive beauty. With the frame, it measured in at 53.5" x 41.5" x 2". The painting with frames comes in around 10 lb. I'll construct a nice wooden frame crate to ship this in.
