Drawing

Historically, drawing has been relegated to a preparatory position. In this series, paper and charcoal take the leading role. Drawing is presented not as a sketch, but as a final and autonomous structure.

Through raw gestures, obsessive anatomical studies, and overlapping lines, the scaffolding of the artist's thought is revealed. The stroke on the paper acts as a seismograph of bodily tension, recording each impulse with surgical immediacy.
